Like true stereo hardware, true stereo IRs  process both the Left & Right channels independently for a more accurate & detailed emulation.

Goal = Capture True Stereo IR programs from the “legend in its own time” Bricasti Design M7 Stereo Reverb Processor.

228  impulse files capturing the Ambience, Chamber, Hall, Plate, Room, &  Space  Registers.

Independent IR’s from both the Left & Right inputs.  No post processing pseudo stereo expansion, phase shifting, or unrap has been used to give the illusion of a stereo image.

I/O = AES Digital @ 24bit 96k
IR  Resolution = 24bit 96k

True Stereo compatible convolution reverb recommended.  (Check end of post for a manual routing alternative.) Recommended plug-in : liquidsonics Reverberate.

  1. [...] Beam has released True M7, a collection of impulse responses sampled from a Bricasti M7 stereo reverb processor. Not all IR [...]

  2. Many thanks for making these available.

  3. Yes, thanks for all these samples!
    Getting even better, it seems!
Some of my friends have noticed something different with my mixes since I started to use yours and some other conv. samples. Sure I use more reverb now, maybe that´s what they notice…

  4. THx!!!U R Great!!!!!!

  5. how can i convert these to use in spacedesigner?

  6. Best impulses I’ve come across IMHO! Please keep the ‘true stereo’ stuff coming, you guys rock

  7. these IRs are 96k. Does that mean I can’t use them in a project @ 48k?

can someone recommend a website to read about this?

    • Yes you can use them at other samplerates as well. Your convo reverb plugin will do the SRC for you automatically. You don’t have to think about it.

  8. cool!

  9. Hi,

    Best Regard,

  10. Hi,

What do is amazing for all of us people that cannot own the real units. Thank you so much for this. Are any of the IR libraries in stereo apart from the Bricasti M7? If they are in mono,is there a disadvantage of using mono IRs when mixing?
Thank very much for such amazing website. A donation will be made soon.

  11. What is a mac equivalent of a multi-channel IR player?

  12. spacedesigner is capable of it…i just dont know how to convert them for it :(

  13. thanks alot for these. Ur work is flawless!

  14. This is great. Is there a Nebula 3 version coming soon? I’d donate an a$$load of $$$ for that.

  15. how can i convert them for space designer????????

  16. Hello,
    Well Done!
Any chance of doing these for Nebula? That would sound amazing! Any reverb you sanple for Nebula would most likely be top notch!

  17. Hey,

Brilliant work!! i’m just checking the samples out at the mo.
All other IR sets work first time in Altiverb for me.
But for some reason these come up in Altiverb with two samples for each patch
    M7,Bass XXL L and M7,Bass XXL R

I presume they are the L and R of the same patch!!
I’m sure i’m missing something silly!!

How do i get these to work properly in Altiverb??

    Thanks

  18. Yo,,

I just saw the diagram above,,,, duh!!!!

  19. Is it possible to set up the routing shown above in Nuendo w. Altiverb? Its straight forward enough to load 2 Altiverb instances on separate stereo sends for the left & right impulses, but I don’t see a way to route a stereo track to this that won’t be mono-ed and fed to both sides of the reverb.

    thanks
