Please excuse this basic question:
All of the IR’s appear as mono source in Altiverb. Is this an issue with Altiverb, or is there a way to process a stereo source with stereo algorithm using these IRs?
To answer David: in Altiverb (and all other IR reverbs that can process “true” stereo IRs) these IRs will be mono source because “true stereo” IRs require two stereo files: a left stereo file and a right stereo file. Altiverb then convolves both stereo files together (4 channels of convolution internally). The advantage of this is you can pan the source across the stereo field and the reverb will follow properly in the stereo reverb space. Disadvantage is it takes double the CPU. Pull up a stereo source reverb factory IR in Altiverb and check out the waveform view – you will see four separate waveforms being processed.

However,,, i’ve downloaded the tc6000 pack 3 times and the archive seems corrupt. Both on pc and mac, the archive doesn’t work.

I just checked the archives, I suggest using a different decompression client.
I’m having the same problem as Leviathan. When I go to WinRAR I get an error message when opening the file and none of the IR’s will extract. Do you recommend another extraction program? All the others are working perfectly and kick major ass!!

I just split the tc pack into smaller sections. Should help download timeouts.

If your on a mac try de-compressing it with something other then it’s native tool. something like RAR, unrarx, Stuffit Expander, Zipeg, ect.

by the way, how does one about spliting the TC pack into 2 for downloading?
