Cubase 5.1, WinXP, 4.2.0.2 driver: Works great!

Dear all,

Just to let you know that the following combination works great for me:
- WinXP 32 bit PC
- Cubase 5.1
- GadgetLabs wave824
- GadgetLabs WavePro series 4.2.0.2 driver (Win7, Vista, WinXP):

- Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86):

Using the Mostek 3.x.x.x driver, Cubase 5.1 didn't play any audio with the GadgetLabs ASIO driver.
But installing the latest Mostek 4.2.2.0.2 driver and the Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package made it work after a reboot and setting up Cubase!
Cubase 5.1 now plays audio using the GadgetLabs ASIO driver from Mostek (Waldemar).

Thanks again Waldemar for all your efforts!
Some time ago I did Paypal you a donation for your dream project as you requested. How's that going btw?

I can hardly believe that I'm still running this great audio hardware after more than 12 years!
Thanks all for keeping this one alive! 8)

Regards,
Floris

Hi Floris,

I'm glad to hear that it's all working well for you. I just finished listening to your new album on the Claus Bandcamp site and it's good, really fun stuff. I really liked Enjoy Your Stay.

Thanks Doug for listening to the Claus album!
Enjoy Your Stay is all about the questionable "fun" of being on an exotic holiday. The bass player and I, we'd rather just be at home... I guess we're not the adventures types... :)
